Set around beautiful abandoned mine lakes of Bhatti, the race, in its 5th year, is India’s most popular and possibly the only ultratrail circuit race with complete trail route, tough terrain and scenic landscape.

The trail head literally starts where the road ends in the Kant Enclave development of Suraj Kund, Faridabad, right on New Delhi border. It provides its share of history with Tugalakabad Fort standing tall right around the race location.

Bhatti Lakes Ultra has its own share of history for having been the race that qualified the first Indian to race in the epic Badwater race, first 100 mile, first trail race and possibly the first pure ultra race that India has seen.

The race; its tough. Heat, humidity and a trail with changing terrain with its slippery sandy sections will challenge the trail runner in  you. Come prepared with good trail running shoes and focus extensively on finding trails to train.

(This race is qualifier for Ultra-Trail Du Mont-Blanc with 3 points, only in the 100-mile category and 4 points in the 220Km category).

Our green efforts: This year, we will only allow reusable running water bottles on the route. Please bring your water bottle that you train with or if you do not have one, let us know and we will help you with finding the right one to purchase. We will also be providing only digital certificates, and cloth bibs (which need to be returned after the race. If you wish to retain it, please pay a nominal amount to cover cost of reprinting it).

With each passing year, our runners have suggested and recommended, especially those who are environmentally conscious and wallet-friendly, that we do away with tee shirts, and if a runner wants to have it as a memorabilia, that we can provide them with an option to place an order for it along with registration. We that it is  a great idea too, given we are turning to non-disposable stuff, less collaterals and things greener with each race. Instead of increasing the race fee for all, which becomes inevitable with rising costs such as fuel, perishables, labor cost and almost everything that is needed for a race, we thought we will maintain the race fee as is, and make tee shirt optional.
